Collective action multiplies impact
The Health Impact Coalition brings together eight Belgian health organisations (Action Damien, Chaîne de l’Espoir, Handicap International, Light for the World, Médecins du Monde, Médecins Sans Vacances, Memisa, and Viva Salud) that work to support people facing systemic barriers to healthcare.
Together, we strengthen health systems
Active in 25 countries on 4 continents, we collaborate closely with civil society actors and national and local health authorities to strengthen health systems and advance equitable access to quality healthcare. With proven expertise across inclusive health systems and communities, coordinated action, shared learning, and evidence-based approaches, we contribute to sustainable improvements in public health outcomes worldwide.

Facing Global Health Pressures
Health systems worldwide face growing pressure from demographic change, environmental challenges, unequal access to services and chronic underinvestment. The Health Impact Coalition responds by uniting organizations that work with public institutions and civil society to support inclusive, sustainable and adaptive health systems. Our approach aligns with national priorities and global frameworks.

Our Collective Impact
We unite 8 international health NGOs, 1,650 staff members, and 16,000 volunteers, reaching more than 10 million people each year through more than 100 partnerships and supported by 130,000 individual donors who believe in one mission: making universal, quality healthcare a reality for all.
One Purpose, Shared Commitment
The eight Belgian-based organizations behind the Health Impact Coalition unite around one shared objective: contributing to stronger and more equitable health systems. By aligning strategies, combining complementary expertise and learning collectively, we multiply our impact and create added value for governments, institutional donors, research partners and health professionals.
